ADD/ADHD is something people came up with so kids would shut up and zombie out in class or the living room so lazy teachers and parents wouldn’t have to do their fucking jobs.

they’re kids. they don’t like to listen, they don’t want to pay attention in school, and they don’t want to do what they’re told because they’re easily distracted little assholes. but now we just diagnose them because god forbid we just admit that kids are assholes and teachers and parents do their god damn jobs teaching them not to act like little assholes.

oh, and adults who say they have it, the same goes for you. no. you don’t. you just don’t like your job, don’t enjoy whatever task you have to take care of at the moment, or you’re just plain bored with life. that’s it. because if you really enjoy something, you’re just fine concentrating on it. or maybe (and this is gonna sound really crazy) IT’S JUST YOUR PERSONALITY! maybe you’re just an “all over the place” kind of person. embrace who you are. so stop with the “Adult ADD or ADHD” it’s just something you saw as an excuse to diagnose yourself because it’s the easy thing to do now.

also, please do not give me the usual “I trust the experts!” “you’re not a doctor!” bullshit I usually get when I post about this kind of stuff. the “experts” are psychiatrists and therapists looking to keep you as CUSTOMERS, drug companies looking to keep you as ADDICTS, and the system to keep you as quiet little ZOMBIES.

I agree that it is overdiagnosed and badly treated in many cases, but as for the rest, I don’t agree with you in the slightest. I’m not going to argue with you because you’ve got a very religious-like opinion. I’m not going to sway you no matter how much I explain how my life works.

Look fredasaurusrexr…ADHD exists, I can prove it to you, so please do not come at me with “it was invented so lazy people wouldn’t do their jobs/whatever the right way”, because i can assure you it does exist. How? Because my sister has ADD, and believe me I’ve seen many things. So please, do not give your opinion on a topic you have no idea what you’re talking about.

And even tough many people in the world only wants your money, doctors exist; and they surely know A LOT more than you about all types of disorders and illnesses. They are “the experts” that have made sure you live since you were born.

I’m really disappointed of you for thinking that way. Not all the people have bad intentions, and disorders exist, more specifically ADHD exists. So, as I said before, do a little research before you come at me with that shit, and leave people alone with their things.
